David,

Everyone in Corn Country is polite. I've been to be so on occasion. I've also been known to be very rotten. Better to be polite.

Nothing wrong with polite discourse.

It is with civility and mutual respect that honest differences can expand the perspective of all that read.

Taxes as an Investment

I attended a Catholic Caucus meeting and the speaker said something interesting to us. Why should taxes be considered a tax relief to reduce taxes, especially for the multi-millionaire? Maybe we should see taxes as an investment for present and future generations. The taxes would be an investment in education, roads, environment, services in law enforcement, firefighters, libraries, health care, affordable prescription drugs, etc. Taxes can be considered a positive life experience and not a negative experience, especially if the taxes are progressive and fairly applied to the poor, middle class, and the rich. The federal government does not receive $300 billion in taxes per year that she should receive and 90% of this money should come from the rich who pay little or no taxes since they have all the tax loop holes and tax shelters. The rich need to pay their fair share in taxes in order to help America. Are the rich really Americas?

The use of the word, liberal, is out and the use of the word progressive is in. There are two myths that tax cuts means more jobs and increase in the minimum wages means loss of jobs.

We need to talk about ethics and not moral values. Progressives are moral people and most definitely they are more ethical in comparison to the conservatives. Progressives stand for community and cooperation and the conservatives stand for selfishness and greed. Progressives are nurturing and sensitive and the conservatives are authoritative and deceitful.

Conservatives are working together to destroy America but the progressives are split in terms of how to best help America.

Appearances are not reality. Church going and Bible carrying people are not necessarily good people.

In order for public policies to reflect gospel values we need to hear more about Matthew 25:31-46.

Mushroom Cloud Rice says that the attack on Iraq and Afghanistan cannot guarantee democracy in those countries. Why, then, did we attack those countries? She said that it was worth the price. Thousands of human beings have been killed and billions of dollars were pissed away. Lives were cut short from their true potential and money was taken away from programs to help people. Worth the price??? Mushroom Cloud Rice is one stupid secretary of state. She is another one of idiot Bush's goons who revel in murders and war crimes.

I shared with you a post on taxes as an investment. Taxes are an investment if it is wisely utilized.

I see no hope for Nazi America because the divide and hatred is so deep and wide spread that we will never be a nation united.

You can only give

I have from time to time shared with you that I believe we can only give what we have. America wants to spread her democracy across our planet.

Let us take a good look at the Nazi American people. I am speaking of the majority of Nazi Americans. Democracy is only a word. People are living entities.

When we spread our democracy, we will be spreading corrupt and greedy liars. We will also be spreading our mentality of hatred, killing, torture, and wars.

Is this what we want to spread to other countries so they can emulate the Nazi American way of life?

Why Wars?

People will for various reasons go to war, such for oil, dislike for neighbors, and distrust for a countryճ ruler. These are a few of many reasons. In America, Americans go to war for basically three reasons. Americans love the sight of bombs bursting in air and the sight of human body parts flying all over the countryside. The biggest reason probably has to do with the fact that America is the leading terrorist nation on this planet. America does a great deal of research in testing weapons of mass destruction and America needs to know in actual combat experiences whether or not America is getting more bang for her bucks.

Spy,

You should have seen some of the things that I said when I was blindly partisan. Most of it was attacks on David and the left in general, not defense of my beliefs. Don't want to go there again and I hope I have apologized to all I have offended.

Coyote Ugly

Whenever I hear the repugnant women speak from the pro-death party, I remember the story about coyote ugly. A man went drinking and toward the end of the evening he was blind drunk. A woman picked him up at a bar and she took him home. The man spent the night with the woman in bed. When he awoke in the morning and he could see better, he saw next to him the ugliest woman he has ever seen. He wanted to leave in a hurry but she was lying on his arm. In order to leave without awakening her he had to gnaw off his arm.

A month or so later he was at the barbershop and the barber said that a woman was looking all over town for a one arm man whom she picked up at the bar; took him home, and spent the night with him. When she finds him, she is going to marry him. The man leaves the barbershop; he goes home; and he fears that she may find so he gnaws off his other arm.

The repugnant women from the pro-death party remind me of coyote ugly!

Ugliness is just not the face. It could be in actions, behaviors, and/or deeds.

Note to LBH from prior thread on your post of the Democrat agenda not changing. Give credit where credit is due. Rush said the same thing on his show today. If I am going to post the work or words of others, I quote them or link them. As do most others on this site.

the images of flight175 impacting the wtc2 that we were shown by the mcmedia were computer generated images (cgi) inserted onto the footage of an explosion on the same wtc2.

hahaha So what, people just thought they seen a plane? (don't say hologram, just insinuate it then... more dishonest posting) And this plane they thought they saw, just happened to hit where the demo charges were waiting to be set off. You're really incredible James.
And since the pilots weren't that good, they set demo charges on different floors of the other tower just to make it look good, right?

Every person watching that day, and every person with a camera, mcmedia or civilian, are all in on some conspiracy to lie to you James! You proved them all wrong by watching the video clips! You'n Jane Doe are gonna be rich 'n famous.

Anarchist Cheerleader Elected

Lake Worth City Commissioner Cara Jennings refocuses her radicalism after surprise win

In 1996, Cara Jennings, then 19, and her sister Aimee started the Radical Cheerleaders in their hometown of Lake Worth, Fla., a town of 35,000 north of Ft. Lauderdale. Their fishnet-stocking, punked-out leather outfits and shredded garbage bag pom-poms caught on, as did their obscenity-laced chants against the neo-liberal agenda, the WTO and various other political causes. As the worldwide protest movement rose in the late չ0s, the radical cheerleaders became fixtures at anti-globalization rallies, and cheerleading troupes have sprung up around the world.

For the past six years, Jennings, who works as a special needs program director at a local high school, has been very active in local politics. In late 2005 she decided to run for an open city commission seat. Despite being a self-proclaimed anarchist, Jennings came in second in the primary for the District 2 commission seat, and then won in a run-off against a well-funded darling of developers and the sugar industry.

po·lite adj. po·lit·er, po·lit·est
1. Marked by or showing consideration for others, tact, and observance of accepted social usage.
2. Refined; elegant: polite society.

You guys are all polite. I am not. Oh, hell no. Can we take a vote on who is the politest? I vote for Don. He only drops F-bombs on Republican't safehouses.

Can we get back to the RepubliCAN'T theme?

Republican'ts are not capable of independent thought. They need walking and talking orders. Wonder where all the card-carrying Bush-oisie are tonight? They're getting programmed on the shiny, new talking points relating to the new Dem agenda. Remember Dick Armey (R-Hell)? This is what he thinks of the rubberstampers in the GOP:
Ex-House majority leader Dick Armey, a 1994 contract author, says his former colleagues "need to do some serious substantive legislation" to improve their electoral chances. Armey, a conservative Republican, says his GOP colleagues are "wasting time" debating constitutional amendments to ban gay marriage and flag burning. "They're not doing real work. They're making political statements," he says.

They did vote to give themselves a real payraise, though, didn't they?

And why do these sugartit Dems need a raise if they can fly all over God's earth on somebody else's dime? Ethics my ass. They make money hand over fist.

Republican'ts need to be taken by the hand and reassured that their constituents don't mind being lied to. Fitzy, minus the panty-sniffing oral sex investigation, I get the gist (via Eschaton). This is public policy GOP-style: "The decision not to charge Karl Rove shows there often are no consequences for misleading the public."

Republicant's always make the headlines. There is a time and a place for the GoOPers to let loose. Funny how they always show up on the internet. GGW (Goopers Gone Wild).

And as Billmon notes, it's another red-letter day for the Grand OrangeJumpsuit Party. "Boy, those guys are really on a roll!"

I never liked Rita Cosby, but I would definitely be politer than Olbermann. "She's dumber than a suitcase full of rocks?"

Yeah, spy on this! can you believe his chutzpah? I went to the www.savetheinternet.com blog site and posted Rick Larsen's NON response to me and my original e-mail to him. He's a real weeny. (I'm being polite!)

What spy on this! said in previous thread:

wow micki, rep larson is trying to cleverly deflect your concern back onto yourself, asking you if your internet use has been impeded in any way - he knows as well as the rest of the congressmen (voted themselves another raise!) that only now that the markey amend has been shot down will any internet impedement begin. dissembler! Let's chalk one up to the strategerizing of the Grand Ol' Spending Party. They got their talking points on how to maximize their political clout while Americans are sacrificing body and soul in Iraq:
1. Exploit 9/11.
2. Attack opponents ad hominem.
3. Create a false choice ..... the decision is between supporting President Bush’s policies and hoping terrorist threats will “fade away on their own.”

Can't say Mr. DeLay has the same thing on his mind. Hell, he doesn't even know where the hell he lives.

It must be COCD (Crusty Old Congressman Disorder). Mr. Lieberman is getting his ass handed to him by every guy in the room ... and some just passing through. Dopey Joe just can't catch a break.

And speaking of Dopey. Check out Mr. Bush making fun of the guy in shades. I never knew a guy could get ALL of BOTH feet in his mouth.

Scholars, with all their books and shit. They think they know a quagmire when they see it. Folly? You don't hear folks using that word much anymore.

More from Follywood:
"A crowd accusing Iranian television of insulting an Iraqi cleric attacked Iran's consulate in the city of Basra on Wednesday, setting fire to an annex of the compound, Reuters television footage showed."
"Hundreds of protesters outside the consulate chanted slogans against an Iranian satellite station which they said had aired a programme slandering prominent Shi'ite Muslim cleric Mahmoud al-Hasani, who has many followers in the oil-rich Iraqi city."

Wow. It's a good thing we set up a Democratic govt. in Iraq. We wouldn't want all those crazy mohametans running roughshod over our precious experiment.

Even more from the studios in Follywood:
"Iraq's new interior minister vowed on Wednesday to disband powerful militias tied to political parties and improve the country's human rights record."

In a related announcement, he said he would also be outlawing the heretical practice of squinting in the noonday sun. As per Mr. Bush's most recent press conference, everyone will be wearing shades.

"He gave no specific plan for tackling armed groups, which the U.S. ambassador has said are killing more Iraqis than the Sunni Arab insurgency."

No plan. Hmmm. Where've I heard that one before? Oh yeah, no plan to win the peace. Dumbasses.

Further north, in a remote cave in Afghanistan, a despondent Osama Bin Laden writes that no one tells him anything anymore. His aides have taken to whispering behind his back leaving him to glean information from his broadband internet hookup and the 680 channels that he gets on his DirecTV satellite.

They're on a roll, baybee! They're on a roll!

(don't say hologram, just insinuate it then... more dishonest posting

you're starting to make me wish that i wasn't so polite alan - i am not dishonest, cgi is not a hologram - now i am disappointed in you for trying to make my (i'm not alone in this either) belief look foolish by making me look foolish. you will not succeed. i am painting your face on one of my ninja turtles for use as a voodoo doll as we speak!

what eye witnesses? there are as many recorded eyewitless statements stating they saw a small plane or even no plane as there were stating that they saw a 767. so then what? does one only throw out eyewitlesses who's statements contradict what one's pre-conceived notions are? no. one goes to the video to gather the truth.

if anyone is interested in why alan thinks that i am foolish, here is why: LINK

i will remind you alan that you have scoffed at janedoe's report without pointing to any specifics other than that her handle is janedoe.
